Beautiful people do not just happen.

I've been thinking a lot lately about life.  I have mostly pondered how people treat each other.  If you think about it, every one should have great compassion for one another because of their own knowledge of life's struggles and trials.  This is not always the case, but shouldn't it be?  I think if we had a chance to get to know someone, we would find something in common that would bind us together.

You will never know what a smile, a call, a text, a hello, or a hug can do for someone.  If we all could see what shape each other's heart was in, life would be different. I am very far from perfect, but this concept is always in the back of my mind.  This idea that every one is equal, no one escapes life's hardships.  I know that even the littlest form of encouragement fills me up and gives me the hope that I'm doing alright.

This is one of my all time favorite quotes.  It beautifully and eloquently sums up what I believe.

VOILA!

You have reached my "new" blog.  Really, I've just marked the last 8 years of my blog private only to be seen by me and made this my new little spot.

So, here's to the next 8 years.
